Pferdeosteopathie

Was so schön an der Pferdeosteopathie ist …

Ich liebe es einfach, wenn die Pferde sich komplett auf die Behandlung einlassen und sich entspannen. Gerade war ich wieder bei einem Pferd, das ein eher schwaches Nervenkostüm hat und recht empfindlich auf Berührungen reagiert.

Es ist einfach so toll, wenn die Pferde sich dann entspannen und vertrauensvoll auf die Behandlung von mir einlassen.

Was sind Zeichen, dass ein Pferd sich entspannt?

👉 Es atmet tief und gleichmäßig.

👉 Die Augenlider fallen zu.

👉 Das Pferd gähnt.

👉 Das Pferd leckt sich die Lippen

👉 Das Pferd schüttelt den Kopf

👉 Das Pferd schnaubt ordentlich aus.

👉 Die Unterlippe hängt herunter - und/oder bebt.

👉 Das Pferd streckt einem dem Körper entgegen, um zu zeigen, wo die Behandlung besonders gut tut.

👉 Die Bauchmuskulatur entspannt sich.

👉 Das Pferd stellt sich stabil hin.

What is so beautiful about equine osteopathy…

I just love it when the horses get so completely involved in the treatment and relax. I was just back with a horse that has rather weak nerves and is quite sensitive to touch.

It’s just so great when the horses then relax and trust me to treat them.

What are signs that a horse is relaxing?

👉 It breathes deeply and evenly.

👉 The eyelids close.

👉 The horse yawns.

👉 The horse licks its lips

👉 The horse shakes its head

👉 The horse snorts properly.

👉 The lower lip hangs down - and/or trembles.

👉 The horse stretches towards you to show you where the treatment is particularly beneficial.

👉 The abdominal muscles relax.

👉 The horse is stable.
